Why Hello there…..
So we’re in Kelowna. I’m getting caught up on some work while the boys are running around the mall doing lord knows what.
We’ve had a quick few weeks skip by. They were gooders too. We had a time in Medicine Hat and then hung out for a couple days in Calgary at our friends place. We did a ginormous turkey dindin and it turned out incredible. I have some video from the day that I’m trying to convert into something my Mac will read and if I get that accomplished then I’ll post some video from the great day!
We spent a few days in the mountains last week. You know, I always think that maybe their magnitude will wear off as we travel them more but it never does. They are always incredible. Two nights in Banff and a night in Canmore. Such amazing towns. On Thursday as we travelled from Banff to Canmore we stopped at Tunnel Mountain for a frolic. Here’s a few pics….
We arrived in Canmore with time to kill so we went off to the pub to enjoy the sunshine. Here’s a pic of Karl Bastard really soaking it up…
After Canmore we hit Mikeys Juke Joint. 
Quite possibly our favorite venue in Canada. As per usual we had a real fun crowd out, sold lots of CDs and felt like we were hanging out at home the whole time!
The next day we drove to Golden to play the Rockwater Grill. We had a lean but enthusiastic crowd. We also had our first “opener” of the tour. A gal from Calgary named Erin Ross. She does a country blues sorta thang. Check here out HERE.
We’ve been enjoying some downtime at the Okanagan Compound with Karl Bastard’s folks. Its so great to have a cool spot to hang on days off, and with family to boot!!!
We’re gearing up for our Salmon Arm show Thursday night. Looking forward to rocking the Old Dog Pub again and then heading to Prince George for a night of rockin blues! Should be a time……
Some thangs I want to mention before I go….
…. we just added shows in Kenora and Thunder Bay for the way home so if you know folks in that area let em know to come out and shake it on down!
