Well he made it out of Kelowna. We had so much fun at the Blue Gator.
Two great shows. Lots of dancing and all round good times. the second night my old musical pals, Jamie Marshall (harp) and Poppa Dawg sat in. I used to play in Poppa Dawg’s band and if I may say so, actually gave him the moniker I my memory serves me. Lots of fun catching up and I think it was actually the first time Poppa D and I actually played together (I played bass in his band). Here’s a pic…

Tuesday we hit the road for Vancouver Island. A log drive and a ferry ride got us to Ucluelet. we were booked into The Black Rock Resort. without a doubt The swankiest place I’ve ever been to. Ocean only feet away. We had at our disposal…2 Dishwashers, 3 flat screens, 2 fireplaces, 2 ridiculous baths and a full balcony overlooking the ocean. Unreal! We made the most of it by hanging on the beach and exploring all day yesterday. Last night we rocked the Float Lounge in the Resort to a small but appreciative crowd. All in all way worth it!!! We’re in Tofino now and are about to go watch two of our friends pretend to get married. Should be a good party! Were rocking the Weigh West tonight for them and then we return for a full show Saturday.
