Hey folks,
just taking a minute out of my last minute “i’m leaving tomorrow holy shit!” to say hey there…
We’re getting ready to hit the road for out fifth tour of Canada in 24 months. Whew! It’s looking like a gooder too. Totally stoked to get back out there and say hi to some old friends and of course, to make some new ones. All the dates are up on here so check em out and let a friend know if we’re coming close by. There are a few dates yet to be confirmed too so keep checking. While on tour we’ll be updating our blog here and Facebook as well as Twitter. If you don’t already follow us here is my twitter handle @rossneilsen and Shawns @ThenakedBass tune in for good laughs.
I also wanted to remind y’all that we’re nominated for Blues Recording of the year from Music NB and if you want to vote for us that would help a bunch. You can vote right here for Best blues recording as well as Fan choice. If you have an email address you are eligible to vote!
I also wanted to quickly say what an amazing time we had last week at the Harvest Jazz & Blues Fest. We had some great shows. We got to see some nusic this year too which was nice. Derek & Susan rocked it, John Hiatt rocked a huge crowd all by his lonesome, The Amazing Morgan Davis stole the Festival as per usual and we got to rock out with our pals, Hill Country Revue. The Hill Country show we did was a personal high light. Great Crowd. So much fun to Rock at home and Hill Country blew my mind. They’re new record is out next month. Look for it cause it’s a rocker! Big thanks to all the volunteers and staff of the Harvest Fest for bringing a world class event every year and especially for including us in it!
